I'm just going to slap a bunch of pictures here - they are all from the shrines. Please realize that I did not go
to Europe to find beaded flowers - I went to find silk ones. These are just some of the examples of the use of beads in those
silk shrines. Please note too that there were never very many beads and I think that was indicative of the period - there
is little evidence of bead use in the 1500's - at this time the use was mainly limited to pearls.
